Recently, we are trained to count our Macro (Protein, Carb, and Fat in grams) in order to adjust our muscle and body fat composition. In my case, I have to intake a lot more protein and a lot less carb and fat than usual. (never thought about a handful of nuts contain that much fat…)
In order to meet my protein quantities requirement, I need to find creative ways to consume and make the food. This salmon ball bite was I randomly made last night…
- 2 cans salmon (Alaska wild-caught)
- 1/2 cup none-flavored panko
- 1/2 package ramen noodle
- 2 Tbsp mayo
- 2 Tbsp blue cheese
- 1 Tbsp parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper as your desire
Combine all the ingredients together, using ice cream scoop to divide the salmon mixture into 24 balls. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on balls. Bake 15 – 20 minutes on 350F. Turn them over if you want both sides brown.
Here is the nutrition breakdown:
Protein: 80g
Carb: 52g
Fat: 50g
If we have 8 balls as one serving, that would be: P 27g; C 17g; F 17g
You may drizzle some sort of dressing on the fish ball and wrap it in a wadge of lettuce leaf… Just be creative and enjoy!
